Seeing the invisibleUltra-violet light penetrates water, making UV light a potentially powerful source of light in aquatic environments. However, we do not see UV light, making this the invisible world to us. This project is developing the capacity to explore UV in aquatic environments to explore the ecological and behavioural implications.

Dietary ecology of primatesThis study is employing meta-analysis techniques to explore if, across the dozens of studies that have investigated the diet choices of folivorous primates, they actively select the most nutritious foods within their environments. Furthermore, we will determine if habitat quality drives selectivity decisions in these animals.
